I am a mom of two. Jackson (my 4 year old) and Knox (my 1.5 year old) keep me quite busy. I'm married to my best friend, Joe and we live in Nashville, TN! Life is great!

I'm anxious to get to know each of you! Please keep in touch!

Sue

Hi Everyone!

My name is Sue, and I’m the other co-founder of Seeds of Faith Women. The idea of connecting with other Christian women and sharing our faith with each other, truly fills my heart with excitement! Studying the Word of God with good friends is by far one of my favorite things to do.

I have an 11 year old son, Grant, and have been married to my amazing husband, Matt, for 16 years. We live in sunny Arizona where we enjoy full-time homeschooling, floating around in our swimming pool, hiking, and all things Star Wars related. I am the current director of pre-teen ministries at our local church and oversee a homeschool support group there as well.

If you’d like to connect with me, or get to know me better, you can find me on twitter @HomeschoolSue or over at my personal blog The Homeschool Chick . I really hope that you’ll stop by to say hello sometime. I just love to meet other Christian sisters in the blog-O-sphere!

Amy

My name is Amy and I am just another 20-something stay-at-home-mom, and also a graduate student in counseling psychology. I have been married to my college sweetheart since 2006 and we have a very busy one-year-old to keep us on our toes. My husband has recently joined the Army National Guard so I am slowly adapting to the role of military spouse. He will be leaving for 8 months of training in just a few weeks, but I am so blessed to have the love and support of our families and friends, so I know we'll be okay. While he's gone, I will be hosting a16-year-old Danish foreign exchange student for the 2010-2011 school year. And to add to the mix, we just found out that we are expecting baby number two and we are very excited!

In writing, it looks like I have way too much on my plate... and it's quite possibly the case. But I love my crazy, busy life. I truly believe that God gives us "impossible" tasks just so we can see his presence in our lives as everything always turns out okay.

I began blogging as a way to communicate with family members far away, but then I found such community among other Christians and other moms that it became so much more. You can find me at my personal blog, Wife hat, Mom hat or on twitter @amy_421

Cheryl

My name is Cheryl and I am a Christian, a wife, mother and daughter.  I have a great husband, three children, Jaci - who is in the Navy, Allie and Timm who are teenagers.  I am the choir director of our church and help out with music and the youth ministry anyway I can.

I started blogging 15 months ago when we found out my father had throat cancer.  I used it to keep all of our friends as informed daily as he went through his treatments.  The Lord blessed that and it is grown into an email that I send to 90 people and 40+ online read when they can.  I feel am very blessed that my dad is still here and we are still very close.

I am hoping that through this endeavor we can learn how to be a family and grow the Lord's kingdom!

Elisabeth

I'm Elisabeth LaMouria: an image bearer saved through faith alone, by grace alone.  I'm married to an amazing author, A.M. LaMouria (Tony), who is also my best friend and father of three crazy but adorable boys.  Eli will be 5 in November, Zac will be 3 in September, and Luc is almost 18 months....but thinks he's just as big as his older brothers.  (Photos of them can be seen at my personal blog, listed at the bottom of this bio.)

I was saved at age 10, lived a clean teen life, but rebelled and moved away from home after graduating high school.  A year after moving away from home I knew I needed to be a true follower of Christ, so I sought a position at a christian youth adventure camp called Rock-N-Water.  Throughout that summer and the following year, I grew in my relationship with Christ, and re-dedicated my life to His service.  A year later, two of my friends (and co-workers) were murdered, which drew me to move home to be close to my family.  Shortly after that, I met and married my husband, Tony, and we started our whirlwind journey into married life.  It's been an amazing five and a half years, and God has worked mightily in both of our lives since then.  We have survived 10 moves (two across the nation), 3 tough pregnancies and births, major financial struggles, a year deployment of daddy in Iraq, and a host of other things....God took us every step of the way and ALWAYS provided for our needs.  He is our hope, our provider, our Father.  I cannot imagine my life without the saving grace of Christ.

As far as my personal life goes, I love cooking, photography, blogging, crafting, exercising, and spending time with my family.  Most people find it hard to see Tony and I without our better half because we love to do everything together.  We love serving in the church, exercising, taking the kids to the park, having pic-nicks, taking photos, shopping, and most recently we discovered the mutual love of blogging.  God has richly blessed us and it's always good to make these lists just to remember how much He's blessed us!

Hallee

Hi!  I'm Hallee.  I am married to Gregg and we have one beautiful and amazing daughter: Kaylee, and two sons: Scott and Johnathan.  I live in small-town central Kentucky where I keep my house, tend my garden, volunteer my time by cooking at a local soup kitchen two days a week, and in my spare time, write Christian romances.

As I write this, my husband is in Afghanistan.  While he is in the National Guard, he is currently over there as a civilian and is due home in December.  When he comes home, he will have been gone for 21 months.  God blessed us with this job during a rocky economy, and for that we are thankful.  But we are all ready for him to be home.

I blog at Hallee the Homemaker, where I cover a wide range of topics from worship to book reviews to recipes to housekeeping tips.  I'm a "real food" foodie and do all sorts of crazy fun things like grind my own wheat and mix my own milk.  I thought that after nearly of year of blogging, I'd run out of things to talk about.  But, as it is, the ideas pile up faster than there are days to post them.

I love being a member of the Seeds of Faith team.  You can reach me any time on Twitter (@halleeb) or by email (hallee@halleethehomemaker.com).

Jenilee

I am a homeschooling mom to 3 girls - Elayna, Annalise and Abigail. I serve with my husband, Jeremy, a Children's Pastor in Ohio, in fulltime ministry.  I stay busy raising my girls, coordinating Girls Ministries, teaching a women's Sunday School class and working on my ministerial classes. I love speaking and teaching what God is showing me on a daily basis and I have a heart to see women and girls of all ages reach their potential in Christ.
God has an amazing plan in place for each of us and I strive to show women how to live out that plan through the truth of God’s Word in their homes, marriages and relationships. It is my desire to see girls navigate their childhood, teen and adult years with a passionate and devoted heart for Christ. I blog about my personal relationship with God at My Awake Journey, a place where God is teaching me to fully "Enjoy the Journey".
On the fun side, I love a good book, coffee and blogging! You can read more about my family life, homeschooling adventures and other humorous Goodwin moments by visiting The Goodwin Family blog

Joy

Hi! I'm Joy! I am a stay-at-home homeschooling mom who loves to connect with Christian women and encourage them in their walk of life with Jesus. I have been married to my best friend Buddy for 17 years. We moved from Florida 5 years ago to Sylva, NC and have been enjoying the views God created in the Great Smoky National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway ever since.

We have been blessed with 4 wonderful children that we started homeschooling 8 years ago.

My kids are 17, 13, 6 and 4 and keep me busy most of the time with their schooling and many extra activities. My husband and I also are leaders of a local homeschool Christian support group in our area. We have just recently found a wonderful church home and are excited to see how God will use us to continue to his work through the church.

In my spare time, I love to read, scrapbook, make crafts, cards, stampin 'up and play on the computer. I enjoy baking and cooking for family and friends and sharing the recipes of my dad and grandma. I have also recently discovered that I love to be behind the camera and take pictures of Gods creations. I am also an Independent Consultant for Usborne Books and More.

You can keep up with me and my family at My Home In The Smokies, e-mail me at jumpforjoy@gmail.com or drop me a tweet @jmpfourjoy .

I am really excited to be a part of this great team of women and looking forward to sharing God's word with everyone. I love the Lord and loving the life that He has given me. God is so good! God has truly blessed my family and I am looking to pass on as many blessings as I can!

Penny

I am a Pastor’s Wife and Women’s Minister and am currently serving on staff alongside my husband at Journey Christian Church in New Orleans, La.  I am the mother of a beautiful 6 year-old girl and very active 3 year-old boy.  I adore my family and consider them my most important ministry!  I have a heart for women to truly know the love of Christ.  I mentor and disciple women in cities dotted across the country and currently write devotionals that are sent to both men & women coast to coast.

I have studied at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, served in ministry for the last ten years, helped to plant three churches, write books, curricula, and devotionals and speak to women.  It is my passion for women to know that they can see God is their “every day regular life stuff.”  I want them to know just how much God “gets” them!

You can visit me over on my personal blog Living Above Ministries

Stephanie

Hi I'm Stephanie and I am blessed with 2 wonderful kiddos, ages 5 and almost 2, and a husband who is one of my best friends.

Although I belong to a great church, my heart has been looking to fellowship with other moms that have younger kids like I do. I am so very blessed to have found the awesome women of Seeds of Faith!

God has given me a heart for helping others and for teaching/encouraging. It is my hope and prayer to do those things both on my own website and on the Seeds of Faith’s Practical Parenting posts.

Other places you can find me online are my website, MomKaboodle.com, and on Twitter as @MomKaboodle.

Tara

Being a mom myself, I have a heart for inspiring, encouraging and equipping moms to become "Proverbs 31 mamas" and raise their children according to Biblical principles and guidelines. I work with those who deeply desire to be the women and moms God designed them to be and to train their children in Godly character and spiritual development. I provide specific direction on raising a Godly child in a chaotic world through the use of the Bible along with other effective tools and resources. My goal is to encourage the spiritual growth of moms which will enrich their families and communities.

In addition, I have a heart for women who are struggling with a crisis of faith and asking "Why, God, why?", or who have been in church all their lives but don't understand what having a relationship with God looks like. I have gone through profound struggles myself including the loss of a parent and a miscarriage. I have been in the midst of the storm and can help women navigate the stormy seas and find their way back to the One who will calm their heart.

I look to God’s Word as the one and only GPS for my life. I have a passion for studying Scripture and being sure that I read it for myself rather than relying on others’ interpretations. I have a heart for teaching other women through Bible studies, writing, and workshops. I enjoy sharing what I discover via my blogs, articles and coaching programs. My passion is to serve God and encourage women to experience the joy of living in awe of what Jesus has done for us and His unbreakable love.

I am walking out my journey to be a Proverbs 31 woman with my family in Lexington, KY. You can connect with me on twitter @taramcclenahan or visit my personal website Live Your Legacy Today

Tracey

Hi, my name is Tracey and I am thrilled to be a contributor for “Seeds of Faith.” I am married to my best friend Mike and mother to my sweet little man Jack (17 mos). I am a native Floridian, born and raised in Brooksville, a small town just north of Tampa and am currently living in Fort Myers. I enjoy traveling, sewing, photography, running and will begin training for my first triathlon in the very near future. A 3rd-generation graduate of UF, I am also a huge Gator fan.

I’m super excited to be able to showcase my newest hobby, graphic design here at SOF. Mostly self-taught (with the exception of a few lessons from my baby brother), my designs have evolved from trial and error. My role here will be to manage the various graphic designs elements you see throughout the blog.

I’m looking forward to meeting other Christian moms out there and to the fellowship with each of you. I welcome you to visit my personal blog at The Reese Family Chronicles
