Short version of your testimony: My husband and I got saved at the same time after I had turned away from the Lord as a teenager/young adult.

Anything else we need to know? I love God with all of my heart, and I praise and thank Him for all he has done. There have been so many times, more than I can name, that He has blessed us!

I was raised by Christian parents and realized at an early age (5) the fact that I had sinned and needed a Savior. I asked the Lord to forgive me for my wrongdoing and come into my heart. I know that I have an eternal future in heaven w/ my Lord!! =)

Short version of your testimony:
I grew up Catholic, but my family still did tarot cards and such. I became Pagan. My cousin that drank with me came over and didn't bring the kinda drink I thought she was going to bring. She brought me the news of the living water! She became Christian a few months back (no wonder she didn't come over anymore) I ended up fully giving my life to Christ 2 days later at her church on the way home I went to smoke a cig and it tasted like a chemical found under the sink! Then that night a friend brought me some alcohol again tasted the same so I dumped it. I knew God didn't want me taking that stuff anymore. I opened my Bible and started reading. I couldn't get enough of it. Then Wed my cousin asked if I was going to chuch. I said I already went for the week! I ended up going and I couldn't get enough of that either. I was a liar and a gossip and God took that all away! I was convicted of the music I listened to and threw all my CDs in the dumpster along with DVDs that were no good. I had to tell everyone the good news. Jesus found me and saved me! My family (most of them) stopped coming around and didn't want to talk to me since them being Catholic they believe you have to get to Jesus through Mary and such. I was once religous like them and was still going to hell. Nobody cares to hear that. My cousin and I are still saved and are still working on our family planting seeds and watering whenever we can (as well as with the other lost) God will provide the incress and they will be saved someday. I have been saved for 1 and a half years. I'm on fire like you wouldn't believe!!!

Short version of your testimony: Grew up in Christian home, fell away when I left home, Dad diagnosed with and died of brain cancer, wondered if God really existed, God proved Himself to me in a real and powerful way and hasn't let go of me yet!

One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,

Favorite christian song/praise & worship song? Wow - OK this is equally as difficult to narrow down decisively! Mighty is the Power of the Cross by Chris Tomlin with Christy Nockels.
Do you have any rolls in the church? Do you volunteer at all? Not currently due to the a change in our family situation. I needed to back off of the responsibilities for a while. I was on the praise team, a small group leader and a women's Bible study leader.

Haven't gotten on the Twitter bandwagon yet. It will only be time.
Testimony: Raised in a Christian home. I can't remember when I wasn't saved. Kind of strayed as a young adult (only a little bit) and found myself in an abusive marriage with a newborn daughter. God stepped in, got us out of there and two years later brought me the man of my dreams. We're living proof of God's goodness, complete with four fantastic kids. We're trying to grow in Him every day and let Him lead our family.
Church affiliation: Grace Chapel, Foursquare Denomination
Bible Verse: Col 3:12-14, which also happens to be our family verse.
Favorite song: How Great Thou Art or Amazing Grace/My Chains are Gone by Chris Tomlin

Short Version: Grew up with my parents faith, and if finally became mine when I was 7. In high school I became a drug addict, in college I was pursued by Christ, after college I recomitted my life. I met my husband through a bible study we attended, and I've never looked back. 7 years of marriage 2 kids, and I need the Lord more today then ever.
