My Father's Canvas: Desiring God

Do you thirst for God? Do you keep your heart quenched with His presence? Does your soul let you know when you are parched and in need? If you had consumed as much water today as you have partaken of God, would you be found panting, seeking the Well of Life? Perhaps you have been lost in the desert so long that you can no longer discern between fulfillment and emptiness?
Dear one, those who remain quenched with the essence of life, with the sweet Holy Spirit, most immediately, most keenly, know a moment of need... for they know moment by moment what it is to be satisfied, nourished, alive in Him.
Does your soul pant for God, Sustainer of Life? Or have you been thirsty too long? Come. He renews.
Through His lens,

There are lots of things we use as substitutes to quench our thirst but only God truly satisfies. Thanks for sharing this lovely post.
Wanda, how right you are... and some of them seem so "right" at the time! Thank you so much for sharing with us! ~Susan
Oh I have been thirsty lately and not drinking of His love nearly enough. Thank you for the reminder that God renews.
