My Father's Canvas: Step Out... He Waits

What about you?

Would you have doubted?

Would you have cried out?

Would you have believed in that moment that He would save you?

Would you have even stepped out on the water?

Over 200 verses in the Bible, depending on translation, about the sea:

how God made the sea and all that is in it,

how He parted the sea,

stilled the sea,

commanded the sea to be quiet.

It is under His authority,

crafted by His hands.

Have you considered the vastness of that recently?

If He has supremacy over the the oceans,

which divide continents and cover most of this earth,

will you not trust Him?

Will you not place your hand in His...

and step out...

walk...

eyes on Him?

He rules every creature of the water...

yet He waits...

for you.

My Father's Canvas: New Growth

Do you see the work of our Father
growing fresh and tender among the branches of your life?
Do you see the signs of new beginnings, new purpose,
new fruit growing out of your faithfulness?
Praise Him for each bud that springs forth,
offering it for His purpose!
If you find dormancy, old canes... barren and brittle...
you need only pray for His renewal.
He will come.
Growth will begin anew.

My Father's Canvas: Desiring God

Do you thirst for God? Do you keep your heart quenched with His presence? Does your soul let you know when you are parched and in need? If you had consumed as much water today as you have partaken of God, would you be found panting, seeking the Well of Life? Perhaps you have been lost in the desert so long that you can no longer discern between fulfillment and emptiness?
Dear one, those who remain quenched with the essence of life, with the sweet Holy Spirit, most immediately, most keenly, know a moment of need... for they know moment by moment what it is to be satisfied, nourished, alive in Him.
Does your soul pant for God, Sustainer of Life? Or have you been thirsty too long? Come. He renews.

My Father's Canvas: His Word Endures

"For you have been born again, not of perishable seed,

but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

For, "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;

the grass withers and the flowers fall,

but the word of the Lord stands forever." 1 Peter 1:23-25a

As we come together in fellowship, we are planting seeds on fertile ground.

Delicate, beautiful souls shall gather in thirst of sweet nectar.

Seeds will take root.

Growth will astound.

New life shall blossom.

May we steadfastly remember, all which endures

is only that which is purely of our Heavenly Father.

All else fades away.
