Be Encouraged and Encourage...Fear The Lord

What does it mean to Fear the Lord?
For the unbeliever, it's to have the fear and judgment of the Lord and eternal death.
For the believer, it's quite the opposite. The believers fear is in reverence to God.
Somtimes this "fear" is thought of as respecting, but to me, its much more than that. It's also understanding and knowing how much God HATES sin and fearing the judgment on sin.
As children, the fear of discipline and respect kept us from doing some wrong things. And it should be just the same, if not more with our heavenly father. Fear him and look to serve and please him in our lives. Don't be scared of God, but have a reverence for him on how we live our daily lives.
So, fear the Lord and respect him, obey him, submit to him and worship him. Most importantly, SHARE him with those who don't know him or who don't "fear" him.
We hope you are encouraged by this and take a few minutes to encourage someone else about fearing the Lord.
