Exciting Announcement - Weekly Bible Study {Details}

How would you answer this question:
Did you know the Bible - Jesus actually - addresses exactly how you can be truly happy? He does so in a sermon where He addresses the Beatitudes.
What exactly is a "Beatitude?" This even sounds like a strange word! Is is about my attitude? I have heard it said that Beatitudes are Attitudes that Christians should "be" about.
The Beatitudes are filled with blessings directly from Christ. In this study we are going to take a look at the 9 Beatitudes - individually and collectively.
The Beatitudes are a pronouncement of some blessing or happiness that will come to us when we allow God to shape our thinking and feelings.
If you're wondering if this study is for you... ask yourself the following questions:
1. Am I truly happy?
2. If not, why? What's keeping me from being happy?
3. If yes, why? Is it based on circumstances of the present or something much deeper?
The child's song, "If you're happy & you know it" says to do something, a particular action - clap hands, stomp feet, spin around - if you are happy and you actually know that you are happy.
Today - are you happy? Could you honestly clap, stomp, or spin - based on that knowledge?
It's important to look at this passage about happiness. I know this is a struggle for many of us! I want you to know today that God gives un everlasting happiness - not just laughter and pleasure when all is going our way! His blessings bring peace, hope and joy - even when times are rough and hard!
We invite you to join us here on Fridays for our very first weekly Seeds of Faith (SOF) Bible Study. This study is unlike a lot of the other studies that you'll see out there, in that you don't need to go out and get a special book for it. You already have the Special Book - your Bible!
We'll start off nice and easy tomorrow with an introduction to our Beatitudes study and a little bit of homework.
So if your heart is searching for a true "at-home" Bible Study, and for some accountability to go along with it, you've come to the right place!
