In a previous post we mentioned that the Seeds of Faith holiday project is to support Children's Hope Chest.

Our goal is to raise $500 to help stop Sex Trafficking in children.

Do you know that if 100 people donated $5 each, that we could easily reach this goal?

Here is the description from the HopeChest website:

"Globally, over 2 million children are forced into some kind of sexual slavery. Whether desperate to survive or tricked by a pimp, girls around the globe are vulnerable to the commercial sex trade. Once trapped, girls in some brothels are raped up to 40 times per day. In Russia, the HopeChest Ministry Centers provide education and protection for girls facing these situations. Our goal is to provide a safe place filled with resources and knowledge to help girls and boys develop job skills and life skills within a Christian context."

Heartbreaking, isn't it?

So how can you help?

• Donate $5 (or more if your heart moves you) to Children's Hope Chest.
• Grab our $5 from 100 people button and post it on your website to help spread the word.
• Purchase an adspot on the Seeds of Faith website.  We will donate half of the money from the ad spot to Children's Hope Chest.
• Tell your friends and family, tweet about this project on Twitter.

Remember, we just need 100 people to donate $5.  I've started us off with the first $5, so we just need 99 more people.  Are you up for the challenge?  Go, go, go!
